Glow Sign Board

Glow sign boards (GSBs) are internally illuminated signage systems typically used for storefronts and commercial advertising. Specifications vary based on the construction type (Flex, Acrylic, or ACP), but standard technical requirements often include

  • Main Frame/Box: Usually constructed from Mild Steel (MS) square pipes (typically 1" x 1") with a thickness of 18 to 20 SWG.
  • Body Material: The box is often wrapped in 26-gauge galvanized iron (GI) sheets or tin sheets ("patra") on the back and sides for durability.
  • Backlit Flex: Uses a flexible PVC sheet printed with high-quality translucent graphics. Common for large, cost-effective outdoor displays.
  • Light Source: Modern boards primarily use waterproof LED modules (12V) for energy efficiency and longevity. Older or budget models may use 2-4 T5 tubelights.
  • Power Supply: Requires a 220V to 12V DC adapter/transformer. The system should ideally handle 230-270V AC input.
